The Jim Kane Sugar Bowl 5K takes place on the third Thursday of July at Carson Place/Boston Teacher’s Union Building (next door to the State Police on Day Blvd.). Put on by L Street Running Club Members, our members do not run in the race but volunteer. All race proceeds go to local charities.
There are plenty of race day amenities on this flat and fast USATF certified course. These include free baggage check, free parking, walking distance to the JFK red line stop, a food court, raffle prizes and a fabulous runner expo featuring plenty of exhibitors and vendors.
